Measure your hip at the belt line using a tape measure. Or you can use a pair of pants that fits your comfortably and measure from button to buttonhole. Use the table below to determine your fit.

Unfortunately, with jeans and other pants vanity sizing has become the norm and the size displayed on pants is not what we truly are in circumference. For example, my hip measures 33 inches, but all my jeans are labeled as 30 or 31 waist size. If in doubt order one size up for waist as suggested in the sizing table, you want the fit around your waist to be loose.
TAC Suit sizing
Our TAC Suit sizing is true to measurement, meaning a size 34-36 waist measures 36 inches in circumference with the elastic waist band stretched to its limit. If your hip measures 34 inches in circumference do not order anything in the 34-sizing category. Order in the 36-sizing category for a comfortable fit, or order in the 38-sizing category for a loose fit.
If your chest measures 44 inches in circumference, but your hip measures 34 order something in the 46-sizing category. Length adjustments are available within each sizing category.
EXAMPLE: I am 6.1 @ 178lbs, have a 32 inseam, measuring 34 inches in circumference on my hip, and 42 inches in circumference on my chest. I wear a 38 M, which is a nice loose fit all around. The 36 M fits me, but it is a snug fit that wouldn't allow me full range of motion in a comfortable way.

I brought these pants for my job as a mobility bus driver. I must say that they are very comfortable. People have asked me where can they get a pair at? In fact management has noticed my pants and considering getting them for the drivers.
Well thought out EMS pants, plenty of pockets for all your needs. I found them to run a little small and had to order the next size up.

Best ems pants on the market. These have been my go to ems pants when working backcountry mountain rescue. Thank you all for such high quality product.
Paints appear to be well made, however the waist size 32” is not a traditional pants size 32”. If you’re needing a 32” I would go with at least a 34”. I’ll just eat the cost. I don’t have the time to return them for a refund or exchange.

Now you said our pants are not traditional size 32, would you please be so kind and let us know what measurments a traditional size 32 should have. Should it be 34 inches, 34.5 inches, 35 inches, and what standard that measurment is taken from? I looked online and was not able to find a conversion standard that alludes to the sizing of a size 32 having a different measurment than 32 inches.
However, I was able to find this online:
US pant sizing typically refers to two measurements: waist circumference and inseam length, both in inches. The first number in a size like '34x32' represents the waist size, and the second number is the inseam length, measured from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.
